Currently, the visitors to Paull, particularly during the summer months, would be estimated to be 100 - 200 per week, mainly attracted for fishing and walking. The potential influx of visitors associated with the opening of the Fort Paull project is however significant, most of whom would benefit from (and use) the proposed facilities. The Yorkshire and Humberside Tourist Board estimates the initial number of visitors to Fort Paull will be 68,500 per year: this will be concentrated in the summer months (initial opening March - October) giving 9,700 a month / 2,400 a week.
