The sports field is currently owned by Hull City Council and rented by Paull Sports Field Association. The upkeep - principally grass cutting - is paid for by Paull Parish Council.
The Parish Council are extremely keen to gain ownership of this land to maintain it as a village sports and recreation amenity. Ownership gives new access to grants to upgrade the facilities, such as the provision of children's play areas, a secure changing and pavilion building and the provision of a wider range of sports facilities (tennis, cricket etc).
Recommendations are:
Re-route path/road access along the river edge to provide a route for boat movement and a "promenade" - includes some levelling and making good of grassed area
Demarcation of promenade edge and provision of bench seating
